Originally Australian, Hilary began her career in Singapore with DP Architects designing the interiors of the prestigious 2000-seat Concert Hall and Lyric Theatre. After moving to the UK she worked with HOK, Dexter Moren and Benoy Architects where her design of the Triangle Shopping Centre and Sky-Bar in Manchester won a RIBA Award. She created FIG in 2007 and has retained high calibre clients such as the TATA Group India, House of Fraser UK, and Ascott International in Paris and Singapore.

Hilary is an innovative and versatile designer with an ability to develop strong narratives for every brief and a track record for working creatively to budgets. Hilary is also a widely published lifestyle journalist and writes regularly for Boutique Hotel Summit News as well as travel and design magazines. She is a panelist for the Boutique Hotel Awards London.

Over the past 10 years Hilary has been consistently recognised by the industry professionals and peers for her services and performance, receiving in 2016 the BUILD Most Innovative Interior Designer – Europe, and a double award in 2017 for Best Female Owned Interior Design Company & BUILD Excellence Award for Hospitality Design.
